Ramiz Aliyev Kadjar Inspired by the culture of his Azerbaijani homeland and encouraged by his family, Ramiz began formal study in ballet, folk, and modern dance at the age of six. He was a fast learner of many styles and in the course of his training fell in love with social dance forms. As a young adult, he developed a passion for Salsa, Bachata, and Argentine Tango.
Ramiz was fortunate to train in Argentine Tango with many talented instructors, including the late Carlos Eduardo Gavito, a world-renowned master of the dance. In 2005 Ramiz partnered with Natalya Ogirya, a locally respected and talented dance professional. They opened the "School of Salsa Bachata and Argentine Tango ", forming the "R&N Project" that became one of the premiere dance studios in Baku,Azerbaijan.
As a professional, Ramiz is an extremely versatile dancer, attending and excelling as a teacher, performer at Salsa, Bachata, and Argentine Tango Congresses and Festivals in Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Europe and the United States. As of 2006, Ramiz has dedicated himself to teaching full-time, as he continues to develop and refine his dance style. After living and teaching in Cleveland,Erie and Pittsburgh, Ramiz now calls Orlando home. Ramiz is formally trained to teach adults and children (all ages) Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata.
He is mainly focused on Argentine Tango, his personal favorite type of dance.
